SMS Terms and Conditions
The following SMS Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) apply to text message programs offered by Mayfield College (the “College”, "Mayfield"). If you consent to receive SMS from Mayfield College, you agree to receive from us conversational and informational text messages about our various programs, services and updates (such as appointment reminders, meeting schedules, classroom updates, etc.). You will only receive these messages if you have opted into receive texts from Mayfield. Subscribing to the service is not required to attend Mayfield and you may opt out at any time. The service provides you with information via text messaging the College deems helpful and pertinent. Standard text messaging and data rate charges applied by your cell phone carrier will apply to text messages we send. Message frequency may vary. The College reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of this text messaging communication will constitute your acceptance of the new terms. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third parties for any purposes without your clear direction. Mayfield College does not share or sell SMS opt-in, or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS. We use your phone number solely to communicate relevant, conversational information. SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with any third parties/affiliates for marketing purposes. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference in these SMS Terms.

OPT IN/OUT
Users receive, among other communications, conversational, operational and informational sms/text messages about Mayfield’s educational services by users affirmatively opting into communication, such as through providing your contact information and requesting information online, and/or confirming your opt-in by replying to an opt-in confirmation message. Regardless of the opt-in method utilized, you agree that these Terms apply to your participation. Message and data rates may apply. The Program involves recurring mobile messages, and additional mobile messages may be sent based on your interaction with Mayfield from inquiry and throughout enrollment and attendance at Mayfield College. Mayfield and the mobile carriers (for example, T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mayfield College does not share or sell SMS opt-in, or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS. We use your phone number solely to communicate relevant, conversational information. We will not use it for any other purpose. No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
You may opt out of receiving text messages from Mayfield at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message from Mayfield, by emailing your opt-out request to privacy@mayfieldcollege.edu, or by calling (760) 328-5554. You may continue to receive text messages for a short period while the we process your request, and you may also receive text messages confirming the receipt of your opt-out request. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. MESSAGING COSTS
Standard messages and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. When you opt-in to receive sms/text messages, you are responsible for any carrier fees such as data plan charges, text message charges, tolls, out-of-area roaming, and other charges. Message frequency will vary based on your student status and actions. Check with your mobile operator for details on receiving sms/text messages.

PRIVACY POLICY
